I hope you guys figure something out. The FP is so bad that the only way I can read it is with an RSS reader because it tells me which ones are articles.

Here's an idea: DeClutter with MoarClutter: How you ask: Simple, reduce the font size, reduce the line spacing, and reduce the image size. In this way you should be able to "Cram-In" at least two more articles in the same amount of space! Then, use a double-column format for that IndexMess on the left-hand side of the page.

What I find interesting is that, in spite of how terrible the new Gakwer front page template is, it still looks just great on your phone (at least it does on mine). So it's obviously yet another case of how mobile devices are driving, or determining, the experience on the desktop. Just look at how tightly integrated the Mac OS and iOS are becoming, for good and bad.

Which is why I found this excerpt from yesterday's Morning Shift to be so ironic:

Gotta agree with Ferrero1911. FP is unreadable. Postage stamp sized pics, and the clutter, oh my.

Matt, persuade your coders to go back to the previous iteration. Might not have been perfect, but the pix were visible and the articles readable. Neither is nowadays.
